육군훈련소 진중침례식 (미주총회& 기한침 군경선교회)

지난 7월 12일(토), IMB를 통해 시작된 한국침례교 군선교 60주년을 맞아, 미주총회와 기독교 한국침례회 군경선교회가 함께 논산 육군훈련소에서 진중침례식을 거행하였습니다. 이 역사적인 자리에서 3,876명의 훈련병들이 주님을 영접하고 침례를 받는 감동적인 은혜의 시간이 있었습니다. 청년들이 교회를 떠나는 이 시대에, 이번 진중침례식은 참석한 모든 이들에게 청년 선교의 중요성과 진중 침례 사역의 소중한 가치를 다시금 깊이 되새기게 하는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었습니다.

On Saturday, July 12 in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Korean Baptist military missions—initiated through the IMB—the Council of Korean Southern Baptist Churches in America and the Korea Baptist Military Mission jointly held a special baptism service at the Nonsan Army Training Center. During this historic event, 3,876 trainees accepted Jesus Christ and were baptized, marking a powerful and grace-filled moment. At a time when many young people are leaving the church, this service deeply reminded all who were present of the critical importance of youth evangelism and the enduring value of military baptism ministry.
